-
Yes. Vytio is an approved IHG In-Room Entertainment solution provider, offering a complete In-Room Entertainment platform designed to meet IHG’s current technology and guest-experience requirements.
-
Not necessarily. Vytio can evaluate your existing televisions to determine whether they can natively support the IHG In-Room Entertainment requirements. If they don’t, an approved set-top-box solution may allow you to keep your existing displays rather than replace every TV.

Vytio brings the hotel’s entertainment and digital guest experience together in a single platform. Depending on your property’s configuration, this can include live TV, a customized hotel interface, guest casting and streaming, property information, PMS integration, guest messaging, folio review, express checkout and other interactive services.
-
Yes. VytioCast allows guests to security cast supported content from their own phones and tablets to their guest room television.
Guests can use familiar apps on their own devices without needing to enter their streaming credentials into the hotel TV
-
The system is designed to prevent this. VytioCast securely associates the guest’s device with the appropriate guest room television via QR Code, rather than exposing every TV or casting device on the hotel network.
-
In most cases, yes. Vytio support solutions across major hospitality television manufacturers, including Samsung, LG, and Philips, and can integrate with a variety of existing television distribution and network environments. However there is dependency on the property’s existing infrastructure. Modern IRE, casting and streaming services rely heavily on the hotel network, so Vytio reviews network readiness as part of the discovery process. It is preferred that there be Cat-5/6 connection behind the TVs. However, if we deem that the Wifi infrastructure is strong enough, the Vytio platform can also run over Wifi.
Note that IHG Connect WiFi is required in order to support In-Room Entertainment
We’ll work directly with your hotel’s IT team, network provider and other technology partners to coordinate any changes (if necessary).
-
Yes. Vytio can integrate with many different PMS vendors, enabling features such as guest-specific information, welcome messages, folio review, express checkout, and others.
-
Vytio designs deployments to minimize disruption to hotel operations and guests. Much of the system is prepared and configured in advance, with room-level installation coordinated around room availability and hotel operations.
-
Vytio provides ongoing support, monitoring and remote troubleshooting for the Vytio platform. When an issue involves another part of the hotel’s technology environment, Vytio will also coordinate with the property’s network, television or other technology providers to ensure any issue is resolved as soon as possible for your guests.
-
Pricing depends on room count, existing televisions, infrastructure, required hardware and installation requirements
Before recommending equipment, Vytio evaluates your existing environment to determine what can remain in place and identify the most cost effective path to a successful deployment.
